Time‐dependent and time‐independent photo‐selections are considered in the case where rotational motion or the fluorophore is negligible. The expressions derived are applied to the dual emission system and energy transferring systems. Explicit equations of the photo‐selection for a dimer where the constituent monomers weakly interact with each other are also worked out. Relationships of the present theory with the previous works are discussed.
