Paper presents the results of the photoelectric observations of the HI Lacertae system in which there have been successfully determined the period and the complete light curve of this variable. There has been confirmed that the binary is of the Algol type variable. The model of the system based on the BM3 package is presented too. The period of the algolid's IH Lac is P = 1.04244486 day according to our observations.
