Two high-temperature superconducting antenna systems are tested. The first is a small closed helical antenna which shows nearly 6 dB gain improvement over a similar copper antenna. The second is a simple two-element end-fire superdirective array for which initial results of the gain improvement are given. This antenna with its matching network shows a significant increase in gain.
