Objectives: To assess the effect of the Florida PACE Centers program on participants' mobility and to evaluate mobility changes in a group who completed physical therapy (PT) using the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB). Methods: A retrospective review of electronic medical records collected SPPB scores for 158 participants at enrollment and 6 months and at discharge from PT. Results: Statistically significant improvements in SPPB scores were observed from enrollment to 6 months and from PT initiation to completion. Conclusion: These findings indicate that participation in Florida PACE Centers and engagement in PT support meaningful mobility gains in frail older adults.
