This study describes a user-centered design and evaluation approach, informed by the Counterventions framework, for the serious game SG-HANDI. This serious game is developed on an interactive tabletop with tangible objects. The tabletop is equipped with RFID technology. SG-HANDI is intended for use in corporate disability awareness sessions. It uses tangible objects and multimedia content to engage participants in educational challenges and scenarios under facilitator guidance. An evaluation was conducted across 11 real-world awareness sessions involving 94 participants from various companies and 5 expert facilitators. Usability, user experience, acquisition of basic knowledge, and facilitation aspects were assessed through questionnaires, video recordings, and user feedback. Evaluation findings demonstrated overall positive outcomes, highlighting SG-HANDI's potential as an engaging and effective disability awareness tool for corporate environments. Insights gained will inform further refinements for broader adoption.
