In-hospital mortality was significantly lower in patients achieving TIMI 3 flow compared to those with TIMI ≤2 flow (6.4% vs. 32.9%, P < 0.0001), with higher left ventricular ejection fraction (51.3% vs. 44.2%, P < 0.0001).
Predictors independently associated with TIMI ≤2 flow were diabetes (P = 0.013), prehospital fibrinolytic therapy (P = 0.017), cardiogenic shock (P = 0.002), and 3-vessel disease (P = 0.003).
At 6 months, patients with post-interventional TIMI ≤2 flow exhibited worse NYHA functional class and significantly higher rates of repeat coronary angiography compared to patients with TIMI 3 flow.
