This scoping review examines how digital platforms shape enterprise digital transformation by mapping the structure, mechanisms, and governance logic of a fragmented interdisciplinary literature. Following PRISMA-ScR guidelines, we searched Web of Science Core Collection (inception-18 June 2025) and Scopus (inception-18 June 2025) for peer-reviewed English-language journal articles and book chapters. After screening and eligibility assessment, 152 studies were included. No effect measures, meta-analysis, or formal study-level risk of bias assessment were conducted because the review focused on evidence mapping and conceptual synthesis. Bibliometric mapping and qualitative content analysis were combined to identify the intellectual structure of the field and synthesize how digital platforms enable, constrain, and govern enterprise transformation. Based on this synthesis, we developed a dialectical systems framework organized around three interconnected dimensions: concept, method, and value. The findings show that digital platform-enabled enterprise digital transformation is not simply a linear process of platform adoption, but an evolving system shaped by recurring tensions, including openness versus control, efficiency versus resilience, and data sharing versus privacy. This study explains how these tensions are coordinated across platform design, empirical representation, and stakeholder value claims, providing a basis for future research on platform governance and transformation dynamics.
