Adult mongrel dogs (20 to 25 kg) of either sex subjected to right atrial tachypacing (A-TP) to induce atrial fibrillation, and primary canine myocardial cells.

Right atrial tachypacing (A-TP) at 400 bpm/min for 4 weeks, and/or lentivirus-mediated overexpression (lenti-miR-206) or silencing (lenti-anti-miR-206) of miR-206 injected into the left superior ganglionated plexus.

Sham control without tachypacing, and control lentivirus (lenti-control).
