In article number 1909616, Lei Zhang, Kai Liu, and co-workers present a hydrogel-based tactile sensor with an extremely low detection limit (0.075 Pa) that employs a novel asymmetric ionic injection mechanism. The application of these ultrasensitive tactile sensors in fingerprint identification of voices, monitoring of pulse waves, and detection of underwater wave signals is experimentally demonstrated.
