FEIBA reversal of anticoagulant-induced fibrin porosity appears agent-specific in animal models; hypothesis-generating and should not yet inform human practice.
Do different anticoagulants increase fibrin network porosity and can this effect be reversed by FEIBA in human plasma?
All tested anticoagulants increased fibrin network porosity, but FEIBA fully reversed this effect only for warfarin, with partial reversal for direct thrombin and factor Xa inhibitors.
