The relativistic corrections of order alpha 6 mc 2 due to one-photon exchange processes and one-body Dirac fine structure terms are estimated by using the MCDF-EAL method. The results are compared with the high precision experiment of Myers et al. (1981). In addition, the authors discuss their results in the light of a recent comment by Ermolaev and Swainson (1983) on the accuracy of the MCDF-EAL technique.
