S TUDIES of the normal physiology of intracranial pressure and its pathophysiology in nervous sys tem disease have been significantly hampered in the pas t by the l imitat ions of the available measuring and recording methods . These measurements are of great value in bo th experimental and clinical investigations, and the need for improved techniques persists. Current technological research in physics and engineering is continually mak ing avai lable new devices and principles appl icable to biological problems. We arc describing one such application of an industr ial capsule t ransducer to measurements of intracranial pressure.
