Summary statement In tea plants ( Camellia sinensis) , light and hormone signalling pathways synergistically promote MYB75 expression and anthocyanin production in purple‐leaf tea ZJ, by multilayer regulatory networks consisting of COP1, HY5, JAZ1, MYC2, DELLA1, an activator MYB85, and repressor MYB152 via both MYB75‐dependent and ‐independent mechanisms.
