Effects at lower hutt of the July 1962 high‐altitude nuclear explosion

Magnetic effects of the high‐altitude nuclear test of July 1962 were recorded at Lower Hutt, New Zealand. A measurement of the time of detonation based on recordings of received radio signals, and an estimate of the height of the explosion based on a photograph of the fireball have also been made.
