Aim: To find the effectiveness of structured exercise protocol on jaw mobility in oral cancer patients post commando surgery. Materials and Methodology: This study was conducted in Karad. Patients post commando surgery for oral cancers were included in this study. The prior consent form was taken. In pre-assessment VAS was taken and range of motion of temporomandibular joint was measured by measurement scale. Included participants received therapeutic jaw mobility exercises protocol, 4 times a week. Post intervention data was collected by using VAS and range of motion of temporomandibular joint. The experimental results were also statistically analysed. Conclusion: On the basis of the result of our study, it can be concluded that therapeutic jaw mobility exercises helps in improving jaw mobility and decrease in pain. This study concluded that there was improvement in ROM of the temporomandibular joint which improved activities of daily living. Major Findings: The study found that therapeutic jaw mobility exercises significantly improved the range of motion (ROM) of the temporomandibular joint and reduced pain in oral cancer patient’s post-commando surgery. These improvements enhanced the patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living, thereby increasing their overall quality of life.
