The R-matrix method is used to obtain cross sections for the photoionisation of the 2p4 3P, 1D, 1S states of atomic oxygen. The low-energy cross sections for the excited 1D and 1S states are found to be dominated by a 2s2p5 1Po resonance. Comparison with recent experimental data for 3P photoionisation reveals a new discrepancy between theory and experiment above the 4So threshold.
