We calculate neutron star models using four realistic high-density models of the equation of state. We conclude that the maximum mass of a neutron star is unlikely to exceed 2 M0. All of the realistic models are consistent with current estimates of the moment of inertia of the Crab pulsar. Subject headings: dense matter - equation of state - neutron stars - pulsars
