This article deals with antimicrobial prophylaxis, treatment of early and relapsing urinary tract infections, and management of asymptomatic bacteriuria in renal transplant patients. The incidence of lymphocele after renal transplantation varies, and its treatment is still controversial. Management options are discussed.
