The article examines the theoretical and methodological principles of implementing anti-crisis management for small and medium-sized businesses in martial law as a key tool for ensuring their survival, stable functioning and recovery. It is substantiated that in modern conditions of military aggression, economic instability, increased financial and operational risks, disruption of production and logistics ties and reduction of solvent demand, anti-crisis management acquires strategic importance for maintaining the economic stability of small and mediumsized businesses. The essence of the concept of "anti-crisis management" is revealed, its role in the enterprise management system is determined, and the main principles, functions and stages of its implementation are outlined, taking into account the specifics of SME activities during wartime. In the process of the study, the scientific approaches of domestic and foreign scientists to the formation of anti-crisis management systems, financial recovery, risk management and adaptation of business models are analyzed. Modern scientific research is summarized, which focuses on increasing management flexibility, diversifying sources of financing, digitalization of business processes, using scenario planning and tools for operational monitoring of crisis threats. Particular attention is paid to the impact of military, macroeconomic and social factors on the activities of small and medium-sized businesses, which necessitates a rapid response and adaptation of management decisions. The article identifies the main problems of implementing anti-crisis management in SMEs, in particular: limited financial resources, reduced liquidity, personnel losses, uncertainty of the market environment, insufficient level of management competencies and the use of modern analytical tools. The feasibility of improving the anti-crisis management mechanism by implementing a system of early diagnosis of crisis phenomena, a risk-oriented approach, digital management decisions, as well as strengthening state and institutional support for enterprises is substantiated. It is concluded that the effective implementation of crisis management in martial law is a necessary prerequisite for maintaining the viability of small and medium-sized businesses, minimizing losses and forming the basis for their further development in the post-war period. The obtained theoretical generalizations and practical recommendations can be used in the management of SMEs and in further scientific research on the problems of crisis management and business recovery.
