The college atmosphere is not me that is conducive to grieving. Students who are faced with the challenge of coming to terms with a loss bring unique concerns and difficulties to this task. A seven-session bereavment group run under the auspices of a college counseling center is described. The rationale for the group is discussed, and the planning and implementation of the group are described.
