Bibliometric analysis reveals trends in microRNA regulation and delivery in RNA-based therapies from 2006 to 2026, suggesting expanded collaborative research.
A bibliometric analysis of microRNA regulation and RNA-based therapeutic delivery, based on a curated corpus of 143 publications indexed in Web of Science (2006-2026). The corpus accumulated 13,337 citations (mean 93.3 per paper; h-index 53), drawing on 809 authors across 99 journals and 35 countries. Keyword co-occurrence analysis resolves the field into four thematic clusters, miRNA expression and cancer biology, siRNA/mRNA nanoparticle delivery, exosome and extracellular-vesicle-mediated delivery, and RNAi mechanism and chemical modification, while thematic evolution reveals a clear shift from RNA mechanism toward delivery engineering. International collaboration accounts for 27% of papers and is dominated by a China-United States axis. This ePoster presents the production and impact trends, keyword network, thematic evolution, and collaboration geography of the field.
