Explores check removal in WebAssembly, suggesting faster runtime verification.
WebAssembly runtimes dynamically check linear-memory addresses, table indices, nullable references, and indirect-call types. Wasm-precheck established that indexed types can prove some of these checks redundant. Its annotations belong to a whole-module type system, and its prototype focuses on memory operations. We ask whether an untrusted producer can send compact evidence that a runtime can check quickly before removing selected checks.
