An iron-containing POM-based hybrid compound as a heterogeneous catalyst for one-step hydroxylation of benzene to phenol

A POM-based hybrid compound {[Fe II (pyim) 2 (CH 5 O)] 2 [HPMoV2MoVI9VIV3O 42 ]}·H 2 O ( Fe-PMo 11 V 3 ) was synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis. Fe-PMo 11 V 3 was used as a heterogeneous catalyst to achieve the selective conversion of benzene to phenol.
