Introduction: Acute hematological toxicities are an important cause of morbidity in patients receiving concurrent chemoradiation to the pelvis in CA cervix. Our objectives were to find out the incidence of acute hematological toxicities in patients undergoing concurrent chemotherapy and threedimensional conformal radiotherapy (3DCRT) or intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and to evaluate the role of IMRT in reducing dose to bone marrow and hence its impact on reducing acute hematological toxicities.
