Intervention

Surgical replacement of the aortic isthmus with a 20 mm Dacron graft and the subclavian artery with an 8 mm Dacron graft via left 4th intercostal thoracotomy under partial cardiopulmonary bypass.

Implication

Early surgical intervention is recommended for idiopathic aortic aneurysms of the aortic isthmus in young patients due to the risk of rupture, regardless of aneurysm diameter.
