A Phase II Of Ten Archaeological Sites At Tyndall Air Force Base In Bay County, Florida TY-24-0006

In 2024, The NDN Companies (NDN), under subcontract to Argonne National Laboratory, provided cultural resource management services to the Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Bay County, Florida. As such, NDN conducted a Phase II archaeological evaluation of ten previously documented archaeological sites located on Tyndall (AFB) pursuant to Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (Table 1.1). The purpose of this work was to assess the eligibility of the ten sites for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Fieldwork conducted during this project involved visual inspection, shovel testing, and the excavation of test units.
