What is the prevalence and what are the predictors of significant renal artery stenosis in patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization?
There is a high, previously undetected prevalence of significant renal artery stenosis (15%) in patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, which can be predicted by clinical and angiographic features other than hypertension.
Harding et al. (1992) studied this question.
