An optical isolator for an orthogonally polarized two-frequency laser was investigated experimentally. It consisted of two polarization beam splitters, a Faraday rotator and a half-wave plate. The experiment showed isolation ratios of 23.5 dB and 26.9 dB for the orthogonally polarized components. We demonstrated that a laser source was insensitive to the feedback light from the external optical system using our optical isolator.
