Small but mighty: Current methods for generating oil-in-water emulsions provide nanoparticle-stabilized capsules (NPSCs) that are too large for efficient delivery. Electrostatic and hydrogen-bonding interactions were combined to create stable NPSCs with diameters of around 100 nm. Their potential as delivery vehicles was demonstrated through dye studies with HeLa cells.
