Sexual minority older adults experience mental health inequities compared with heterosexual older adults yet their needs are understudied, particularly for multiply marginalized sexual minority older adults. Therefore, this study examined barriers to mental healthcare (MHC) access among sexual minority women aged 55 and older with disabilities to provide counseling professionals with strategies to advance access to services. Multiple regression revealed that supply-side barriers negatively predicted MHC access, whereas demand-side barriers did not. Post hoc analyses revealed that MHC availability and accommodation were predictive of MHC access, as was sexual orientation-related healthcare stereotype threat. Implications for counseling are discussed.
