There are various problems caused by the abandoned agricultural land, and the deterioration of rural landscapes is one of the major issues, along with the expansion of damage by birds and animals and illegal dumping. In this research, we focuse d on agricultural landscapes evaluation in flatlands with abandoned agricultural land and cultivated land and two objectives of the research were set up. The first is to understand about the characteristics and structure of landscape evaluation based on the evaluation factors and landscape physical characteristics. The second is to clarify the relationship between landscape evaluation and the evaluator’s attributes and attitude. As a result, the factor analysis revealed there are three evaluation factors of agricultural landscapes, [attractiveness/comfort], [harmony/stability] and [greenery quantity]. In addition, the results of a two -way ANOVA indicated the average evaluation score was lower where abandoned agricultural land set close-range view area from evaluator i n the immediate landscape area. In addition, the high wildflowers and woody vegetation are smaller negative impact on the lands cape than shorter wildflowers. Furthermore, the evaluator’s attributes and attitude were related to the evaluation and thus their views and interactions on agricultural land should influence their perspectives on agricultural landscapes and evaluation criteria.
