Despite the interest that has been taken in the effect of forest‐cover upon stream‐flow yields only two experiments [see 1, 2 of “References” at end of paper] have been reported in which stream‐flow was measured for the same watershed before and after removal of forest. Both studies were made in western United States in regions of low rainfall.
