Schwinger pair production and string breaking in non-Abelian gauge theory from real-time lattice improved Hamiltonians

Using a Hamiltonian formulation, the authors use classical-statistical reweighting to study the real-time dynamics of fermions coupled to an SU(2) gauge field in 1+1 dimensions. They compute how strings fragment into fermion anti-fermion pairs, including correlation functions with four fermion fields.
