During ten months (October 1988 to July 1989), the carbon balance of an organically little river was followed from the measure of several parameters : benthic and water organic charge, macroinvertebrate biomass, D.N.A., CO2 production of the sediment. The results are interpreded in relation to the stream organic endogenous load ant the "microcentrale brook". It appears that the role played by the biological processeses is negligible compared to the role of "microcentrale impact", compared to the rate of the waste production in situ or to the rate of the sedimentation.
