Randomized trial reveals a new interpretation of the Voynich Manuscript’s structure, suggesting it records dynamic processes.
This paper presents a fundamental re-evaluation of the structure and semanticsof the Voynich Manuscript (Beinecke MS 408), refuting hypotheses of ameaningless hoax text, a substitution cipher, or a natural language. Based onend-to-end algorithmic analysis, it is proven that the manuscript represents analgorithmic frame-based vector protocol—a formalized engineering andtechnological system for recording dynamic processes, states of matter, andcontrolled phase transitions. The empirical basis of the study relies on thesuccessful translation and verification of the protocol across all six key sectionsof the manuscript: Botanical Section (f1v): Regulations for the extraction andthermal processing of plant raw materials; Astronomical Section (f71r):Coordinate geometry, arcual vectors, and planetary stationary points;Cosmological Section (f68r): Dynamics of inter-spherical energy transfer;Balneological Section (f75r): Hydrodynamics of closed volumes and conduitcirculation; Pharmaceutical Section (f87r): Algorithms for compounding, dosing, and sealing formulations; Continuous Recipe Section (f103r): Unified registry ofStandard Operating Procedures (SOP). The study substantiates afour-component syntactic architecture of the basic frame (wordform):
