This paper addresses the role of the supervisor based on gender issues. Issues in supervision of practitioners with a feminist perspective are explored, as well as how supervisors cas assist the practitioner in applying a feminist perspective in practice. The partnership model is used to craft a more effective perspective as an alternative to the traditional hierarchal model of supervision.
