Do pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions prevent and manage postoperative atrial fibrillation in patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery?
Do pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions prevent and manage postoperative atrial fibrillation in patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery?
This review outlines comprehensive strategies for the prevention and management of postoperative atrial fibrillation, emphasizing risk stratification to balance the efficacy and side effects of prophylactic antiarrhythmic drugs.
Supports integrated perioperative protocols in cardiac surgery; extends prior reviews but leaves optimal strategies open pending prospective trials.
