Demonstrates enhanced growth in banana cultivars, indicating effective micropropagation methods.
The access to improved seed and other planting materials in developing countries is potential tool to increase agricultural productivity. Plant tissue culture technology is primarily used for Micro-Propagating Banana cultivars including INJAGI and FHIA17 to break through the potential problem of Blackening/browning around the base of banana explant as well as the media and low growth and multiplication rate. MS basal medium consecutively supplemented with Benzyl-amino purine (BAP), Sucrose, Ascorbic Acid, Gelrite and PH before Autoclaving at 1.03bar for 15-20 minutes is successful during banana cultivars invitro propagation including but not limited to Injagi.
