The objective of this article is to propose a higher-order Szász-Kantorovich operator by leveraging the Charlier polynomials. Through rigorous analysis, we demonstrate the validity of various theorems including a local approximation theorem, a Voronovskaja-type theorem, a quantitative Voronovskaja-type asymptotic theorem, and a Grüss Voronovskaja type approximation theorem. Furthermore, we extend our research to encompass weighted approximation theorems applicable to these newly defined operators.
