Acacia ureniae, a new species of the 'Acacia longifolia group' from the Cobungra area in eastern Victoria is described, illustrated and mapped, and its habitat, distinctions from inferred related species and rarity are discussed. Its distinguishing characteristics include distinctive phyllode venation with the vein reticulum forming moreor-less isodiametric areoles and a lack of an obvious gland on the phyllode margin.
