This study examines the teaching strategies employed by teachers to enhance Arabic speaking skills among students learning Arabic through the Integrated Dini Curriculum (Kurikulum Bersepadu Dini, KBD). The KBD is an innovative curriculum jointly developed by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM), the Islamic Education and Advisory Board (LEPAI), and the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM). It is implemented in all Government-Aided Religious Schools (Sekolah Agama Bantuan Kerajaan, SABK) and is specifically designed for the teaching and learning of Islamic religious subjects. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study involved surveys and interviews with experienced Arabic language teachers at several religious schools in Perak that implement the KBD. The findings reveal that teachers hold positive views regarding several teaching strategies employed in the classroom. The frequent use of drilling and memorization methods demonstrated high consistency, while the direct conversation method showed moderate effectiveness. In conclusion, teachers tend to prefer repetition- and pronunciation-based approaches but face challenges with activities that require spontaneous speech or deep comprehension.
