A novel numerical scheme is proposed in the hybrid numerical method, combining the conformal time-domain finite integral theorem with the particle-in-cell method, to analyze the multipactor in waveguide devices more efficiently. In multipactor analysis, the electromagnetic waves and charged particles interact only in the interior regions of waveguide devices. Hence, elements outside the waveguide device are valueless in multipactor simulations. To improve the efficiency in simulations, we propose an efficient numerical scheme to accurately eliminate the inactive regions. Meanwhile, an adaptive hybrid container is presented to perfectly implement our simple but highly efficient scheme. From two practical examples, it is validated that the memory requirement and runtime can be significantly saved by the proposed method.
