Deterministic derivation relates superluminal spin to energy spectrum in hydrogen atom, revealing implications for QED.
This work presents a deterministic derivation of an imaginary spin component in classical Coulomb orbitals by evaluating the relativistic Lorentz factor under a superluminal spin velocity constraint. By analytically continuing the Lorentz factor into the complex plane via the fine-structure constant and a quantum-electrostatic coupling relation, applying this complex angular momentum to a quantum level of the hydrogen atom generates a complex resonance energy spectrum. In this spectrum: The real part preserves the binding stability of the classical Bohr model. The imaginary part reproduces the scaling law associated with natural line broadening, radiation lifetime, and fine-structure damping in Quantum Electrodynamics (QED).
