The purpose of the study is to identify the specifics of using information and communication technologies by primary school teachers for teaching the subject “Me and the World” in Kyrgyzstan. The methodology includes questionnaires of students before and after the experiment and interviews with teachers to assess the level of proficiency in digital tools. Methodological approaches to teaching and the use of online platforms by teachers are analyzed. The process of formation of skills of using information and communication technologies in teaching the subject by elementary school teachers is assessed. Based on the analysis of respondents’ feedback, recommendations are developed for improving teaching methods, increasing the efficiency of digital technologies and further integrating them into the learning process. It is established that the integration of digital technologies into the educational process helped to increase students’ motivation, develop critical and creative skills, and improve the quality of material assimilation.
