There is public support for patient medication records (PMRs). A sample survey showed that a large majority of customers in four pharmacies are in favour of computerised record keeping. The majority of respondents endorsed specified advantages of the use of PMRs, including ensuring that the prescription is correct and avoidance of incompatible medicines
