The subject matter is clinically oriented and perhaps naive but has proved useful to me in the evaluation and treatment of calculous patients. Much remains to be learned about urinary tract calculi but, hopefully, the format chosen for this article will make more doctors realize that much can be done to ease the lot of patients afflicted with this malady. © 1975 by The American Urological Association Education and Research, Inc.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByMotola J, Urivetsky M, Molia L and Smith A (2018) Transmembrane Oxalate Exchange: Its Relationship to Idiopathic Calcium Oxalate NephrolithiasisJournal of Urology, VOL. 147, NO. 3 Part 1, (549-552), Online publication date: 1-Mar-1992.Salus J, Thomson R, Rees B and Shankar R (2018) Reduction of Infection Stones in Rats by Combined Antibiotic and Phosphocitrate TherapyJournal of Urology, VOL. 140, NO. 5 Part 1, (1063-1066), Online publication date: 1-Nov-1988.Drach G, Randolph A and Miller J (2018) Inhibition of Calcium Oxalate Dihydrate Crystallization by Chemical Modifiers: I.
