Simulation study demonstrates improved state estimation accuracy in networked time-varying systems, indicating effective error bounding under communication constraints.
This paper focuses on the study of set-membership filtering techniques. The research object is primarily a system whose dynamics change with time, integrating bit rate constraints and the dynamic weighted try-once-discard (WTOD) protocol. A bit rate allocation method is proposed for the communication network, mitigating the negative effects of bit rate constraints. Meanwhile, aiming at the data conflict challenge in the shared communication network, a dynamic-weight WTOD protocol is designed for transmission scheduling, and its weight matrix is determined by several factors affecting the filtering accuracy. Subsequently, a sufficient condition is derived such that the filtering error is contained in optimised ellipsoids. Then, a set of optimised ellipsoids is generated via constructing and solving an optimisation problem. Ultimately, illustrative simulations are presented, which demonstrate that the presented approach can improve the filtering performance effectively.
