As Oregon State University Libraries (OSUL) began work to ensure that subscription licenses contained current and relevant terms and condictions , we realized that our collection development policies were outdated or non-existent. Employee turnover and the removal of collection duties from liaison librarians created a knowledge gap. This article focuses on the collaborative process and the lessons learned from it, rather than the specifics of the collection development policies developed through it.
