This study focuses on the synthesis of stable aqueous colloidal solutions of ZnO nanoparticles by a chemical method using various precursors and reducing agents. The morphology and size of the obtained nanoparticles are characterized by small-angle X-ray scattering, dynamic light scattering, and scanning electron microscopy. The fungicidal activity of the obtained colloids is evaluated using mold fungus Penicillium chrysogenum as a model organism.
