Fritillaria saricanense Sonay sp. nov. (Liliaceae) was described from Elazığ province of Eastern Anatolia. It morphologically similar to F. avzemiae, but differs from it mainly in bulb, leaf, perigon, outher and inner perigone and style characteristics.
